I would not. I would only post publicly things that represent or reflect you . . . in that light. 

I know people have, and cudos for them, I just think in terms of privacy and security, You may send a pic to someone you like after getting to know them, sure that is different, but yea I am a bit suspicious of the Internet and hackers and the government, using your data in ways you can't or don't image right now. just looking out. I respect your choice which ever way you go of course, I am just here to offer my opinion on this matter. :) Best wishes.
