If you want to consider friends and are just learning about DDLG/Ageplay/Age regression, then it's probably best to keep most of your circle to littles who you can learn a lot from and support each other. If you want to consider making caregiver friends, then it's a good idea to look at how they act in public forum posts. You can do that by checking their profile. If they don't try to take part in discussions (their profile is empty) and are lurking in the shadows and just messaging people out of sight, then the chances of them being able to offer you anything worthwhile are pretty minimal, as they have little to offer the community. If theyv have stuff on their profile, you can look at their responses to people and judge accordingly.
It's also a good idea to broaden your horizons too. There is another forum called ddlgforum.com but they are having some website issues at the moment, so access is hit and miss until they sort their website issues out. It's moderated there, with some very friendly people, and there are safeguards in place so you won't be spammed with messages and lots of advice on how to stay safe online. Two people actually have to follow each other to unlock DM's there.
There are also some discord servers that might be worth looking at if discord is your thing.
Stay safe
