Dreamy.notsorry Posted July 14 Posted July 14 I'm fairly new to this site. I am still learning definitions and other stuff like my personal feelings on what is in front of me. I like this site so far. waass introduced not all that long ago. please forgive the mistakes, my keyboard is weird and i'm lazy. I have self identified as a little before but it never fit right even when I was completely surrounded by my favorite stuff in my safe spots. Now, I put brat just cause i'm deeply unhelpful and really selfish rn. I want to talk and have significant conveersaations. I have questions about others' experiences. What started you on the site? what else are you interessted in? can this be more than online relationships, real people together and lasting to each other? what does the fox say? ring-ding-ding sorry, notsorry lmao 2 Quote
gemmy Posted July 14 Posted July 14 It can definitely be more than online relationships. My Daddy and I are married. Some people take it more seriously than others, some people just want to get their rocks off, etc. Your mileage may vary. Anyway, the online communities are fun and it's really nice to chat about the lifestyle (that's why I joined). There's plenty to learn, but don't ever feel like you have to put yourself in a box. 2 Quote
Dreamy.notsorry Posted July 14 Author Posted July 14 thank you for replying. I appreciate your explanation of your relationship. I prefer to be more open minded but recently I feel like I was mis-identified as a little. I explored what that could mean but I wasn't feeling 100% about it. so now I'm questioning everything I've been told. I was wondering how serious this website is. it's more laid back than what I was introduced to. I like this so much better anywho, nice to meet you. thank you for your kind words. Quote
DominicanDaddy Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Hi! Welcome. 😊 I enjoyed reading your post because it felt refreshingly honest. I think a lot of people come into the BDSM and DDLG communities wondering where they fit, and there’s nothing wrong with realizing that one label doesn’t quite describe you. You don’t have to rush into calling yourself a little, a brat, or anything else. Sometimes the label comes later, and sometimes it never matters as much as finding people you genuinely connect with. To answer your questions, I joined because I was looking for a relationship built on trust, communication, and mutual respect. I do believe online connections can become real. I’ve seen friendships and relationships grow into something meaningful when both people are patient and consistent. One piece of advice I’d offer is to take your time while you’re learning. Read, ask questions like you’re doing now, and don’t feel pressured to fit anyone else’s idea of what DDLG or BDSM should be. Every healthy dynamic is unique because it’s built around the people involved, not a checklist of roles. Outside of this community, I enjoy gaming, reading, writing, and getting to know people through real conversations rather than small talk. You mentioned wanting significant conversations and hearing about other people’s experiences. I’d be happy to answer any questions you have about my experiences or what I’ve learned over the years. Learning from different perspectives can be really helpful while you’re figuring out what feels right for you. And yes… I absolutely had to smile at the “What does the fox say?” line. Ring-ding-ding! 😄 I hope you enjoy exploring the community, make some good friends, and find the answers you’re looking for. Quote

I know somethings you know, and other things I have known for a long time, but this is all still new to me. I came here cause a friend told me this site exists and I might find people like me here. In my world I have been kept in a strict environment. My mom and dad are both religious and I always went to church with them. Now I am an adult and learning about life and adulting for the first time. I get what it is you want, I think I want that too. I hope you find it and I hope it's safe here to explore and learn. As for my experience knowing I desire a DDLG dynamic, I don't wear diapers but I do most other things in context to the dynamic. Also, I want a daddy / boyfriend but one that is mature and able to lead and hold a relationship. I am looking for more about learning about myself and what my needs are rather than meeting someone and being used or abused or exploited someway. I don't know if I should go into detail publicly but my daddy kink started when I met my dad friend who is part of our community. He is genuinely nice and a good person. He never tried to hurt me or abuse me either. He is several years older than me but he is much younger than my dad, anyway I was young when I met him and I have had a crush on him ever since we met in our group. How did you realize you had a certain complex or dynamic? Did you act on your impulses or desires? I couldn't, I am terribly shy and quite when it comes to being close to a guy I like. I have a few crushes right now but I am good at hiding it from them. Quote
Grandpa Hawkeye Posted August 9 Posted August 9 I signed on here to find myself and maybe a partner. I have been wanting to get involved in the BDSM world for years now. I've tried many websites and gotten a lot of negative feedback. Although I have a lot of submissive characteristics, being a sub never gave me any enjoyment. Have been told i'm no Dom either, im to nice, to soft, to submissive. I started discovering that I really love being a caregiver, taking care of someone. This website has been very comforting and inviting and accepting of me and who I am. Quote
