Dreamy.notsorry Posted July 14 Posted July 14 I'm fairly new to this site. I am still learning definitions and other stuff like my personal feelings on what is in front of me. I like this site so far. waass introduced not all that long ago. please forgive the mistakes, my keyboard is weird and i'm lazy.Ā I have self identified as a little before but it never fit right even when I was completely surrounded by my favorite stuff in my safe spots.Ā Now, I put brat just cause i'm deeply unhelpful and really selfish rn. I want to talk and have significant conveersaations. I have questions about others' experiences.Ā What startedĀ you on the site? what else are you interessted in? can this be more than online relationships, real people together and lasting to each other? what does the fox say? ring-ding-ding Ā sorry, notsorry lmao 1 Quote
gemmy Posted July 14 Posted July 14 It can definitely be more than online relationships. My Daddy and I are married. Some people take it more seriously than others, some people just want to get their rocks off, etc. Your mileage may vary. Anyway, the online communities are fun and it's really nice to chat about the lifestyle (that's why I joined). There's plenty to learn, but don't ever feel like you have to put yourself in a box. Dreamy.notsorry Posted July 14 Author Posted July 14 thank you for replying. I appreciate your explanation of your relationship. I prefer to be more open minded but recently I feel like I was mis-identified as a little. I explored what that could mean but I wasn't feeling 100% about it. so now I'm questioning everything I've been told.Ā Ā I was wondering how serious this website is. it's more laid back than what I was introduced to. I like this so much betterĀ anywho, nice to meet you. thank you for your kind words.Ā Quote
DominicanDaddy Posted Wednesday at 12:19 AM Posted Wednesday at 12:19 AM Hi! Welcome. š I enjoyed reading your post because it felt refreshingly honest. I think a lot of people come into the BDSM and DDLG communities wondering where they fit, and thereās nothing wrong with realizing that one label doesnāt quite describe you. You donāt have to rush into calling yourself a little, a brat, or anything else. Sometimes the label comes later, and sometimes it never matters as much as finding people you genuinely connect with. To answer your questions, I joined because I was looking for a relationship built on trust, communication, and mutual respect. I do believe online connections can become real. Iāve seen friendships and relationships grow into something meaningful when both people are patient and consistent. One piece of advice Iād offer is to take your time while youāre learning. Read, ask questions like youāre doing now, and donāt feel pressured to fit anyone elseās idea of what DDLG or BDSM should be. Every healthy dynamic is unique because itās built around the people involved, not a checklist of roles. Outside of this community, I enjoy gaming, reading, writing, and getting to know people through real conversations rather than small talk. You mentioned wanting significant conversations and hearing about other peopleās experiences. Iād be happy to answer any questions you have about my experiences or what Iāve learned over the years. Learning from different perspectives can be really helpful while youāre figuring out what feels right for you. And yes⦠I absolutely had to smile at the āWhat does the fox say?ā line. Ring-ding-ding! š I hope you enjoy exploring the community, make some good friends, and find the answers youāre looking for. Quote
