Future delete profile button

Agreed; I've requested mine deleted several times and my account's still active.

I agree with this request, and i believe it adds legitimacy to your website. I have met some cool people already and don’t have any intention of leaving yet. However, a delete button is kind of the “cool kid” nod… it’s like saying, “we have no reason to trap you here, come and go as you please and help grow this community”.

When a community has this feature, it makes it feel safer… if that makes sense?

And if am allowed to speculate, I am assume this is doubly true for the little, to have an “eject” button and would encourage genuine interaction from that demographic.

Thanks for the feedback here. The current version of the forum software doesn't support users self-deleting their accounts; it requires admin approval. That being said we've just processed all the deletion requests in our queue. I've noticed this feedback down, though, so if we can find a way to make this more of a user-specific action, I'd love to make that happen! 🙂
