Princess Kitticorn
How do you handle age regression and being a parent? My AoR is 3-8 usually 5 and my eldest is 8 now. How can I mom when I'm younger than the kid?
Bunderella
So I've just come out as a little. I'm 35 with a 12 yr old. I've hidden my little side from EVERYONE since I started slipping, I've always been able to hide it and mask because I've been masking my autism my whole life as well. I've slipped with my kiddo around and I usually just stay quiet or separate myself from her and go to my room (also helps she is angsty and hides in her room too lol) my regression is between 1-3, and varies depending on outside stimuli and stress. I think the best advice for managing with kids is to have a failsafe plan, and to set your self up for success by doing activities you enjoy in little space while in big space so they don't see anything wrong or different with your behavior. Kids are really easy going with things especially if incorporated into their daily lives. Watch cartoons with them, or even just have them on as background noise randomly, color or build blocks, tote a blanket, etc... make it normal for your household.
