Sharing someone else’s full name and area of residence is a major line that should not have been crossed.

Just ask yourself what would have happened if someone had had a bad experience with you and told the entire forum what your whole name was, where you lived, how old you were and what your username was.

I understand you have issues with him. Fine. Find another way to handle those  issues. Publicizing his information is not the answer.

As for the actual events that led you to post in the first place, I’m sorry to hear things ended the way they did. Without knowing the entire story from the beginning, from both of you, it’s hard for me to comment in any substantive way.

The only thing I will say, as an impartial person, is it’s possible your attention may have crossed into “too much of a good thing.” That’s not an accusation or even a guarantee of what happened. It’s simply one possible explanation for what occurred and something to consider for the future.

I don’t know either of you from a hole in the wall. I’m simply telling you what I see. Having said that, I wish you the best of luck in the future.

Ironically, no one would (or should) ever trust you again after this. He sounds like an asshole, but you just doxxed him and have done everything you can to ruin his life, career, and put his family in potential danger; all because he ghosted you. Ghosting is horrible, but what you did is infinitely worse and a much bigger betrayal of trust.

this is why internet relationships needs to be carefully selected. i would never feel comfortable telling anyone my real name or where i live for this reason. sure what the guy did was low, but i think you should consider your actions too littleprinces21, your actions apply too you know. i found it difficult myself to keep my own composure when someone burns me . . . so i get it. and maybe you are young and not entirely aware of why what you just did here is a gross violation. i am not here to bash either parties actions, but i want to help you reflect so you can be a better person for it. take this lesson and learn from it and please don't doxx people, even if they betray you. now, if the individual in mind had broke the law, abused you, hurt you like, physically hurt you, then you call the police. other than that you take yourself and maintain composure and move on, it is okay to talk about it, but don't get too personal on the interwebz forums. i am almost 100% positive, you would freak out of he had doxxed you and told all of us your name, age, where you sleep at night . . .

that said, i think what he did was childish, yes, and he may have his reasons for it, which he may not have told you. i get the feeling he probably has something going on, idk what it would be, and i can only assume which would make an ass of you and me. truth is love, you just have to accept it, and until he gets back to you, if he ever does, maybe he will explain. i am giving the benefit of the doubt yes, as i do for all in circumstances like this, but it is always and only up to you for you to decide how you behave with what is going on. the internet is not a place to share peoples residential address and name. especially with todays climate of hacking and swatting and cops coming over to assist medically but end up shooting the individual 17 times in the chest. come on, have some thought to yourself about this. i know you are hurt, and i do know how that feels even though i do not understand how you feel, i know it sucks when you get burned, especially considering you are invested in such a relationship.

i am sorry this happened to you, but i am also sorry this happened to him, do you see?
