MisterPaternal Posted July 1 Posted July 1 As far as role playing - as opposed to wargaming style ttrpgs - Legend of the Five Rings (the old AEG material) is a really cool setting if you’re interested in more than hack-slash-loot. It has some excellent mechanics for courtly intrigue, personal honor, social standing, etc. Quote

L5r also used to have a cool cradle game like magic where ypu could effect the ongoing story of the ttrpg by winning events.
