Hey Guys

My name is Ren, I'm 22 F little it's nice to meet you all. I'm actively on another forum but it's been having some bugs lately and has been down for the count for a while. So I'm not able to post my activities or obtain my badges or meet people.

So I'm looking for others, meeting more people. I'm not online too much since I work a lot as a hairstylist/barber, but dont be afraid to reach out to me, I don't bite I promise.

I like making new friends, learning new things, Ive been in this community since my late teens but I'm just now trying to spread my wings a bit and put myself out there.

I hope we can get along and become great friends! (⁠◕⁠ᴗ⁠◕⁠✿⁠)

I'm fine, thank you. I suppose you have another busy day ahead of you? Still, you've probably heard the saying, "if you want something done, ask a busy person"? 😄

I know the other forum you mention. I'm also on there. It's a pity this one isn't a bit livelier too, although I've already met a couple of nice people here.

I hope you can make some friends here (as well as there) and learn a bit from everyone, that's what we all can do regardless of age. I only discovered this community just under three years ago, so you've likely had more experience of it, and I know I'm learning all the time.

I admire the fact that you say you're around people, socialising as a way to help with your social anxiety and reaching out to find someone can be scary, but sometimes it's about just pretending to be more confident than we actually feel.

Sometimes, in the past, I've made the mistake of thinking everyone was more together than me, more switched on, but I finally realised that ain't necessarily the case, and that perhaps I had a bit more to offer the world, or to other people too.

I think the way society's been going recently, the politics and everything it's bringing out the bad side in a lot of people and we need to make sure we can balance that somehow, to show love and respect for others.
